- The pre-purchase inspection terms of use constitute a legal agreement between you (hereinafter referred to as the Client) and Automaakler Eesti OÜ (hereinafter referred to as Automaakler) and list the conditions governing the Client's use of Automaakler's pre-purchase inspection service. The agreement between the Client and Automaakler consists of policies, rules, updates, and additions implemented by Automaakler, which collectively form the agreement between the Client and Automaakler. When agreeing to the terms, check the box "I agree to the terms". If you do not agree to the terms, you cannot use the service provided by Automaakler.
- Pre-purchase inspection is a vehicle inspection before purchase, including test drive, paint thickness measurement, and diagnostics.
- Pre-purchase inspection includes: vehicle body inspection and paint thickness check, engine and electrical system diagnostics, interior inspection, electrical equipment operation check, service history clarification and verification, accident history check and other background checks (within possibilities), test drive with general assessment of engine and transmission operation, suspension/brake condition overview, impartial assessment of car price-quality ratio, etc. The service also includes recording of discovered defects and sending the pre-purchase inspection summary and photos to the Client via email.
- Automaakler is obligated to inspect one car within the scope of one purchased service.
- If the car disappears from sale before Automaakler manages to contact the seller, the money will be refunded. If the client decides to cancel the service or change the initially selected car, this is possible until the moment when Automaakler has arranged a meeting with the seller. Otherwise, the money is not refundable.
- Automaakler's experts do everything possible to discover every single fault and defect on the car. Automaakler does not take responsibility for possible hidden defects, but does its best to find them.
- Automaakler guarantees complete neutrality when inspecting cars.
- Automaakler always performs a test drive provided that the seller allows it. In some cases, a one-day insurance cost of up to €12 may be added (for example, for an imported car on the sales lot that is not yet registered in Estonia). The additional fee is added to the regular service price.
- When providing the pre-purchase inspection service, Automaakler does not remove body panels, protective plastics, wheels, hubcaps, or other parts from the car. The car inspection is carried out as thoroughly as possible for the respective model without removing parts from the car.
- Since the primary part of Automaakler's work is investigating the vehicle and seller's background, asking questions to the seller by phone, and other background/preliminary checks, in case of service cancellation, 75% of the service amount will be refunded. The service can be cancelled until the moment when Automaakler has started traveling towards the car to be inspected. No refund will be given for later cancellation. Also, 75% of the amount will be refunded if the car seller refuses the pre-purchase inspection.
